Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon with Mary G. Enig, Ph.D.: "The Cookbook that challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats" ...whatever that means! This book is full of traditional, yet accurate, information and recipes for optimal nutrition. There is an entire section dedicated to nutritional science, as well. A great resource for the kitchen and the mind!
Real Food: What to Eat and Why by Nina Planck: "Nina explains what to eat and why for everyone from age zero to 100. The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot: First published in 1992, I still find this book to be groundbreaking and thoroughly enlightening
